Responsibilities
- Supervise women and child welfare activities in the assigned area.

Exam Pattern
You will take a degree-standard objective computer-based recruitment test (CBRT). No screening test will be held, regardless of application numbers. APPSC may normalise marks if the examination runs across multiple sessions; it will announce the method if needed.
Written Papers
- Paper I: General Studies and Mental Ability — 150 questions, 150 marks, 150 minutes. Topics include current affairs, science, Indian history and geography with an Andhra Pradesh focus, governance, economy, environment, disaster management, reasoning and data analysis.
- Paper II: Home Science and Social Work — 150 questions, 150 marks, 150 minutes. Topics include food science and nutrition, child development, family welfare, community programmes and social work.
The written papers total 300 questions and 300 marks. Each wrong answer loses 1/3 of the marks assigned to that question.
Computer Proficiency Test
The practical Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) covers office automation and associated software. You get 60 minutes for 100 marks; qualifying marks are 30 for SC/ST/PBD, 35 for BC and 40 for OC.
- Part A: Computer fundamentals, operating systems, internet and email; multiple-choice assessment may carry 20%.
- Typing speed: 25%; the notice says qualifying requirements may follow existing norms.
- Document organisation and objects: 15%.
- Spreadsheet work: 20%.
- Presentation work: 20%.
