AIIMS Jammu is hiring 29 non-faculty technician posts at Vijaypur, Jammu on a contract basis. AIIMS Jammu Technician Recruitment 2026 - 29 Posts

All India Institute of Medical Sciences Vijaypur Jammu (AIIMS Jammu), a central autonomous institute under MoHFW, Government of India, has released Employment Notification No. AIIMS/Jammu/Temp.Rect./2026 dated 10 June 2026. This notice covers 10 healthcare technician roles including Cath Lab Technician, CSSD Technician, ECG Technician, Medical Lab Technician, OT and Anaesthesia Technician, Perfusionist, and Radiographic Technician. The engagement is purely contractual up to 31 October 2026 or until regular sanctioned posts are filled, whichever is earlier.

Who Can Apply?

Clinical and Cardiac Technician Posts

• Cath Lab Technician: B.Sc. in Cardiac Technology, or 2-year Cath Lab Diploma with 2 years of Cath Lab experience.
• Echo-Cardiographic Technician: B.Sc. in Cardiac Laboratory Technology with 1 year of experience, or a Master's degree in the relevant subject. Echo study skills are desirable.
• ECG Technician: 10+2 with Science and a 2-year ECG Technician Diploma from a recognised university or institute.
• Perfusionist: B.Sc. degree plus Certificate in Perfusion Technology after training in a recognised centre, with at least 1 year of clinical perfusion experience.

Lab, OT, Imaging, CSSD and Ophthalmic Posts

• CSSD Technician: B.Sc. Microbiology/Medical Technology with 3 years of CSSD experience in a 200-bedded hospital, or Staff Nurse Grade-A registration with 2 years of CSSD experience, or Theatre Assistant course with 4 years of CSSD experience.
• Medical Lab Technician: 10+2 Science and Diploma in Medical Lab Technology. B.Sc. in Medical Lab Technology is desirable.
• OT and Anaesthesia Technician: B.Sc. in Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology, B.Sc. OT Technology, or B.Sc. Anaesthesia Technology.
• Ophthalmic Technician Grade-I: B.Sc. in Optometry/Ophthalmic Techniques or equivalent.
• Radio Therapy Technician Grade-II: B.Sc. (Hons.) in Radiotherapy/Radiology, or Diploma in Radiotherapy/Radiology with 2 years of experience. Computer knowledge is desirable.
• Radiographic Technician Grade-I: B.Sc. (Hons.) in Radiography, or Diploma in Radiography with 2 years of experience. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Age Limit

• Maximum age for all advertised posts is 35 years.
• Age and eligibility are counted as on the last date of online application, which is 25 June 2026.
• Experience rule: only experience gained after the required degree or diploma will be counted.

Salary

• Selected candidates will receive fixed monthly pay of Rs. 51,684.
• This is a contractual salary; benefits such as PF, NPS, gratuity, regular seniority, promotion, or regular government-service benefits are not available.
• The appointment can end on 31 October 2026 or earlier as per the institute's contract terms.

Selection Process

AIIMS Jammu will select candidates through an Applied Test and/or Interview for 100 marks. The institute may first allow applicants to appear provisionally, and then check documents of those who attend the test or interview.

1. Applied Test / Interview: Total assessment is for 100 marks.
2. Document Verification: Qualification, age, experience, registration certificate, identity proof, and other documents will be checked.
3. Merit List: If two candidates get the same marks at the cut-off, the older candidate will be ranked higher.
4. Waiting List: Remaining suitable candidates may be kept in a waiting list for future non-joining or resignation cases.
