Who Can Apply?

For General Medical Disciplines

• Medical qualification: You need a qualification included in the Indian Medical Council Act schedules, as stated in the notification.
• Postgraduate qualification: You need MD/MS or an equivalent recognised qualification in the respective discipline or subject.
• Experience: You need 3 years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognised institution after MD/MS or equivalent qualification.

For Super-Specialty Disciplines

• Medical qualification: You need the required medical qualification recognised under the Indian Medical Council Act.
• Postgraduate qualification: You need MD/MS or an equivalent recognised qualification in the relevant subject.
• Super-specialty qualification: You need DM for medical super-specialties or M.Ch. for surgical super-specialties in the relevant discipline.
• Experience: You need 1 year of teaching and/or research experience after a 2-year or 5-year DM/M.Ch. No experience is needed if you hold a 3-year DM/M.Ch. degree.

The cut-off date for qualification, experience, and age is 27 June 2026. You should keep experience certificates clear about the from-date, to-date, designation, and teaching/research nature of work because the notification specifically asks for these details.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 50 years as on 27 June 2026.
• OBC/EWS/PwBD reservation: Reservation and certificates will be checked as per Government of India rules.
• OBC certificate: The OBC Non-Creamy Layer certificate must be valid for the financial year 2026-27.
• EWS certificate: The EWS certificate must also be valid for the financial year 2026-27.

Salary

• Monthly consolidated salary: Rs. 1,77,828.
• The engagement is contractual for 1 year or till the post is filled on regular basis, whichever is earlier.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

The selection process is interview-based, so you should prepare your qualification proof, experience records, research work, and specialty knowledge carefully.
