Airports Authority of India (AAI) is hiring 389 Managers and Junior Executives across 15 different disciplines. AAI, a Mini Ratna Category-1 Government of India enterprise responsible for managing civil aviation infrastructure across the country, has released Advertisement No. 12/2026/CHQ/DR-CBT to fill 260 Manager and 129 Junior Executive posts. The vacancies span Civil and Electrical Engineering, Finance, IT, Architecture, Law, Fire Services, Airport Operations, Commercial, Corporate Planning and Corporate Communications. Junior Executive posts need no prior work experience, while Manager posts require 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience, making this recruitment suitable for both fresh postgraduates and experienced professionals.

Who Can Apply?

For Manager Posts (Group-A, E-3, 3 years' experience required):

• You need a relevant Bachelor's/Master's degree or professional qualification for your chosen discipline (see the table above), plus 3 years of post-qualification work experience in that field from a Government body, PSU or a large private company/institution.

For Junior Executive Posts (Group-B, E-1, no experience required):

• You need the relevant degree for your discipline (Finance, Law, Operations, or Survey & Cartography) — no prior work experience is needed.

• For Manager (Operations) and Junior Executive (Operations), a valid Light Motor Vehicle License is essential at the time of application.
• For Manager (Fire Services), you must produce a valid Permanent Light Motor Vehicle License at Application Verification, and acquire a Heavy Vehicle License within 2 years of joining.

Age Limit

• Manager posts: maximum age 32 years as on 7 September 2026.
• Junior Executive posts: maximum age 27 years as on 7 September 2026.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates get 5 years, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates get 3 years, PwBD candidates with permanent disability get 10 years, and Ex-servicemen/Commissioned Officers get 5 years.
• Candidates already in regular AAI service who have completed probation get a relaxation of up to 10 years.

Salary

• Manager (Group-A, E-3 level): IDA pay scale of Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 1,80,000 per month, with an approximate CTC of Rs. 21 lakh per annum.
• Junior Executive (Group-B, E-1 level): IDA pay scale of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1,40,000 per month, with an approximate CTC of Rs. 14 lakh per annum.
• You will also get Dearness Allowance, Perks at 35% of Basic Pay, HRA, CPF, Gratuity, Social Security Schemes and Medical Benefits as per AAI rules.

Application Fee

• General / EWS / OBC (NCL): Rs. 1,000 (inclusive of GST), online payment only.
• SC / ST / PwBD / Women candidates / AAI Apprentices (who completed 1 year of Apprenticeship Training): No fee.

Selection Process

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): Objective type test for all posts, with no negative marking for wrong answers. The test is bilingual (Hindi and English), except for any language-specific test.
2. Application Verification / Interview: Post Codes 1 to 11 (all Manager posts) include an Interview as part of the process.
3. Physical Tests for Manager (Fire Services): Application Verification is followed by a Driving Test and Physical Endurance Test covering Running, Casualty Carrying, Pole Climbing, Rope Climbing and Full Ladder Climbing/Descending.
4. Document Verification: You must produce original certificates and self-attested photocopies at the verification stage.
5. Final Merit List: Prepared based on your CBT and Interview performance (where applicable), subject to meeting all eligibility conditions.

Colour blindness and/or night blindness is a rejection criterion for all posts except Manager (Finance) and Junior Executive (Finance).

3. Fill in the online application form with your educational, category and experience details.
4. Upload your scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration as per the specified format.
5. Upload supporting documents: Caste/EWS/Disability/Experience/Discharge certificates as applicable.
6. Pay the application fee online using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or UPI.
7. Submit the form and download the e-Receipt and application printout for your records — no physical copy needs to be sent to AAI.

• Handle day-to-day operational, technical or administrative duties for your assigned discipline (engineering, finance, operations, law, IT, etc.)
• Prepare and review reports, project documents, contracts or financial statements as applicable to the post
• Coordinate with airport operations, engineering and support teams to ensure smooth functioning
• Monitor compliance with AAI rules, safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Support planning, budgeting or procurement activities for airport infrastructure and services
• Represent AAI in meetings, audits or legal/regulatory matters relevant to your role
• Supervise junior staff and contractors where applicable to your post
• Maintain accurate records and submit periodic performance reports to senior management
