Yadgir Court Peon Recruitment 2026: Overview
Principal District and Sessions Court, Yadgir is recruiting Peons for regular service in the district judiciary. The drive is reserved for the Kalyana Karnataka local cadre and is meant for court establishments within Yadgir district. This is practical court-support work: the role helps courtrooms and office sections move files, deliver internal papers, maintain orderly spaces and assist staff during the working day. It is a direct government recruitment under Karnataka subordinate-court rules, not an outsourced housekeeping contract, and the notification specifically expects you to be able to read and write Kannada.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Local cadre: The posts come under the Kalyana Karnataka local cadre protected by Article 371-J. You must use the prescribed certificate from the competent authority when claiming local-cadre eligibility.
- Kannada ability: Reading and writing Kannada is an express requirement for this post. The role involves everyday communication and movement of papers inside a Kannada-speaking district-court environment.
- Probation: Appointment begins with a two-year probation period under the Karnataka Service Rules. The competent authority may extend this period when necessary.
- Reservation records: Category, rural, Kannada-medium, disability, ex-serviceman and similar benefits depend on uploading the correct certificate in the prescribed format. A certificate obtained after the cut-off does not support the claim.
- Education disclosure: If you hold qualifications beyond SSLC, the notice asks you to disclose them. Hiding additional educational information may lead to action against your candidature.
- Form finality: Category and reservation details entered in the final online form cannot later be changed. If more than one application is submitted for the post, only the latest one is considered.
- Original verification: All uploaded claims must match the original records produced when called. Missing documents, false information or a material mismatch can cancel candidature even after appointment.
- Recruitment communication: The court posts shortlist and call-letter information on its recruitment page and may also send messages by SMS or email. Keep your application number and monitor the page rather than relying only on a message.
- Attendance costs: Candidates called to Yadgir must attend at their own expense, as the notice does not offer travel or daily allowance.
Application Submission Notes
The court accepts applications through the online recruitment portal only. Provide a current mobile number and email address, and keep them available during the recruitment because they may be used for notices and call-letter information.
Use the portal's preview facility before making the form final. Check spellings, marks, category and uploaded certificates carefully; after submission, the notice does not allow withdrawal or correction. Save a printout and your application number for future reference.
The photograph must be a recent white-background JPG image, while the signature must also be a clear JPG within the stated portal size. Reservation and qualification records should be readable PDFs. Pay only through net banking, card or UPI; the court does not accept challans, drafts, postal orders or money orders, and paid fees are not refunded.
Responsibilities
- Carry files, registers, notices, and other papers between courtrooms and office sections
- Assist court and administrative staff with routine movement of records and materials
- Keep assigned courtrooms, chambers, and office areas orderly for daily work
- Deliver internal communications promptly while protecting confidential information
- Support courtroom arrangements before hearings and help restore records afterward
- Guide visitors to the correct counter or section without discussing case details
