Yadgir Court Process Server Recruitment 2026: Overview

Principal District and Sessions Court, Yadgir is recruiting Process Servers for its district-court establishments through regular direct recruitment. The posts are part of the Kalyana Karnataka local cadre, so this is a district-focused opportunity tied to the special regional reservation framework. Process service is field-facing court work: you help make sure summons, notices and other judicial papers reach the right person and that the court receives a reliable service report. The notice gives preference to candidates who hold a light motor vehicle driving licence, which reflects the travel involved in the role.

Service Conditions and Caveats

  • Local cadre: The recruitment is for the Kalyana Karnataka local cadre under Article 371-J. If you claim this cadre benefit, the prescribed eligibility certificate must be valid by the cut-off and uploaded with your form.
  • Field movement: Process Servers may travel within the court's jurisdiction to deliver judicial papers. A light motor vehicle licence is preferred, but the notification does not describe it as an essential qualification.
  • Probation: Appointment carries a two-year probation period under the Karnataka Service Rules, with extension possible when required by the appointing authority.
  • Reservation detail: The roster includes vertical and horizontal reservations, with a horizontal reservation identified for candidates with visual impairment. If a suitable candidate is unavailable, the notice says that reservation will be carried forward.
  • Certificate timing: Category, rural, Kannada-medium, disability, ex-serviceman and similar claims depend on the correct prescribed certificate. Records obtained after the application cut-off are not accepted for the claimed benefit.
  • Form finality: Your category and reservation choices become final after submission. When multiple forms are sent for the same post, only the latest form is considered.
  • Original records: You must produce originals corresponding to the uploaded files when called. Material differences, missing qualifications or hidden information can cancel candidature even after selection.
  • Updates and attendance: The court publishes shortlist and call-letter information on its recruitment page. You should monitor it using your application number, and attend any interview or verification at your own expense.

Application Submission Notes

The application is accepted through the online recruitment system only. Enter a working mobile number and email address so the court can send messages, but continue checking the recruitment page because delivery of an SMS or email is not guaranteed.

The portal provides a preview before final submission. Check your marks, name, category and reservation claims carefully, because the notice does not permit editing or withdrawal after the form is finally sent. Keep a printed copy and your application number for later use.

Upload a recent white-background photograph and a clear signature in JPG format, along with readable PDF certificates within the portal's size limits. Payment is online through net banking, card or UPI. Challans, demand drafts, postal orders and money orders are not accepted, and a paid fee is not refundable.

Responsibilities

  • Serve court summons, notices, warrants, and other judicial papers at assigned addresses
  • Record the date, time, recipient details, and result of each service attempt accurately
  • Prepare clear service reports and return completed process papers to the court section
  • Travel within the assigned jurisdiction while protecting confidential case information
