Selection Process (No Written Exam)

The UKMSSB Assistant Professor Statistician selection is based on a 100-mark assessment.

  1. Paper Publications - 20 marks: 5 marks per accepted publication, up to a maximum of 20 marks, as per MCI/NMC standards.
  2. Experience - 20 marks: 4 marks for each complete year, up to a maximum of 20 marks. Experience in state, central, autonomous government hospitals or government medical colleges is counted; private sector experience is not counted for these marks.
  3. Additional Educational Qualification - 10 marks: Additional qualification, where applicable, can carry up to 10 marks.
  4. Viva / Interview - 50 marks: Interview and document verification are proposed in November-December 2026.
  5. Medical Fitness: Selected candidates must complete the required medical fitness process before appointment.
