UCIL Senior Expert HRM Recruitment 2026: Overview

Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL), a Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy, is engaging a Senior Expert (HRM/Administration) at its Jaduguda headquarters. UCIL supports India’s nuclear-power programme through uranium mining and processing operations in Jharkhand and Andhra Pradesh, and the expert will advise a business that is also expanding mines and plants in other parts of the country. This is a full-time post-retirement engagement, aimed at someone who can bring senior public-sector or government experience into corporate HR and administration. The role suits a retired officer who has already handled policy, employee relations, governance and coordination with public bodies.

The assignment sits close to UCIL’s senior management and covers issues that cut across a large industrial organisation. Your advice may shape HRM policy, administrative decisions and employee-related legal responses, while your experience with government systems will support liaison with ministries, agencies and autonomous bodies. The work also touches the Right to Information framework, conduct and disciplinary matters, public-sector policies and corporate governance. It is an advisory role with practical institutional responsibility, not an entry-level HR position.

Service Conditions and Caveats

  • Contract term: The initial engagement is for one year and UCIL may extend it for one more year after reviewing performance and organisational need.
  • Retirement status: Only retired government or PSU officers are considered. VRS optees and people still in service are excluded.
  • Vigilance clearance: Engagement depends on satisfactory vigilance inputs. If you served more than one organisation during the ten years before retirement, UCIL may seek clearance from each relevant employer.
  • Qualification status: The qualifying programme must be recognised and completed full time, subject to the notification’s recognition of permitted online or distance-learning programmes under applicable UGC and regulatory rules.
  • Communication: UCIL will use email for recruitment correspondence, so the address entered in the portal should remain active and be checked regularly.
  • Interview travel: UCIL will not pay TA for attending the interview.
  • Conduct: False, incomplete or misleading information can lead to cancellation at any stage, and direct or indirect canvassing will disqualify the application.
  • Legal jurisdiction: Recruitment disputes fall within the jurisdiction of the courts, forums and tribunals at Ranchi; the English notification controls if another version creates ambiguity.

  • Strengthen corporate governance and CPSE administrative practices
