This is Advertisement No. 02/2026 issued by the Tripura Public Service Commission, Agartala under the Tripura Information Technology Service (ITS) Rules, 2025. Online applications open on 12 May 2026 and close on 5 June 2026 (5:30 PM). Selection is through a written exam of 170 marks followed by an interview of 30 marks.

Total vacancies: 220 posts (including 9 PH posts as per 4% reservation). Category-wise:

• Unreserved (UR): 114 posts (including Ex-SM 02). Women reservation 33%: 38.
• Scheduled Caste (SC): 38 posts (including Ex-SM 01). Women reservation 33%: 13.
• Scheduled Tribe (ST): 68 posts (including Ex-SM 01). Women reservation 33%: 23.
• Persons with Disability (PH): 9 posts — Blindness/Low vision (3), Deaf/Hard of hearing (2), Locomotor disability (2), Autism/Intellectual disability/Multiple disability (2).

Who Can Apply?

You must be a bonafide citizen of India and meet these criteria:

• Education: BE/BTech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electronics & Communication or Electronics & Telecommunications from a Govt. institute / AICTE / UGC recognised institute. Or MCA from a recognised institute.
• Domicile: Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC) is mandatory as per GA(P&T) Notification dated 7 July 2023.
• Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok.

Age Limit

• Minimum: 18 years.
• Maximum: 40 years as on 5 June 2026.
• Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC, ST, PH and Government employee candidates. Note: Government employees who are also SC/ST/PH cannot get this relaxation twice.

Salary

• Pay Band-3: Rs. 10,230 to Rs. 34,800 per month.
• Grade Pay: Rs. 4,800.
• Pay Level: Level-13 of the Tripura State Pay Matrix, 2018.
• Plus DA, HRA, TA and other allowances as per Tripura state government rules.

Application Fee

• General candidates: Rs. 350.
• SC, ST, BPL card holders, PH candidates: Rs. 250.
• The recruitment fee is non-refundable. Applications without fee will be rejected.

Selection Process

1. Written Examination — 170 marks (OMR-based MCQ), 3 hours (180 minutes). Paper-I General Ability Test: 50 marks (English 15, Reasoning 15, GK/Current Affairs 20). Paper-II Job Oriented Technical Subjects: 120 marks. Negative marking applies as per TPSC norms.
2. Interview / Personality Test — 30 marks. Candidates called in 1:3 ratio of vacancies (5 candidates per 1 vacancy, 8 candidates per 2 vacancies, 3x for 3+ vacancies).
3. Final selection — based on aggregate of written + interview marks.
4. Qualifying marks: 55% per subject for UR, 45% per subject for reserved categories.

3. Use the User ID to apply for the post within the application window 12 May 2026 to 5 June 2026 (5:30 PM).
4. Pay the application fee online — Rs. 350 (UR) or Rs. 250 (SC/ST/BPL/PH).
5. You do not need to upload qualification certificates with the online form, but the originals must be ready when called for verification.
6. A correction window opens for 7 days after the closing date — use it carefully as no further corrections are allowed.
