Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project-linked engagement: The post is purely temporary and remains co-terminus with PM-MKSSY. It does not become a regular university post when the assignment ends.
• Tenure ceiling: The engagement can continue for up to three years or until the project closes, whichever happens first.
• Immediate availability: The selected fellow may need to join at short notice, so you should consider your current commitments before attending.
• Field orientation: Extensive travel is part of the expected work. The assignment may take you to hatcheries, farms, processing units and other fisheries locations covered by verification and monitoring activity.
• University rules: Contract-manpower regulations in force at TNJFU govern the appointment. The university may defer filling the position and does not promise continuation in another vacant role.
• No regularisation claim: Selection creates no right to a permanent TNJFU appointment, continued service or transfer to another university vacancy.
• Own travel cost: TNJFU does not provide travel or daily allowance for attending the walk-in or joining at the stated place.
