Who Can Apply?

Medical Specialists

• Qualification: You need an MBBS degree with the matching postgraduate degree, diploma or DNB for your specialty.
• Specialty match: Apply only for the specialty where your qualification fits, such as MD Anaesthesia for Anaesthesia or DM/DNB Cardiology for Cardiologist.
• Registration: You must carry your Maharashtra Medical Council registration certificate and valid renewal certificate.
• Experience: The notice gives preference to doctors with higher qualification, experience and local availability.

Physiotherapist

• Qualification: You need an MPTH or BPTH qualification for the Physiotherapist panel post.
• Documents: Carry certificates showing your education, date of birth, marks, experience and any applicable category proof.

Payment

Payment is not a regular monthly salary because this is a panel arrangement. You should check the specialty-wise table carefully before attending, because case-based procedure rates, OPD visit rates and patient-count limits are different for different specialties.

• OPD visits: Many specialties get Rs. 2,000 fixed payment plus Rs. 100 per patient, up to Rs. 5,000 per visit.
• Procedure/case payment: Examples include Rs. 4,000 per LSCS case for Obstetric & Gynaecologist and Rs. 4,000 per major case for Anaesthesia.
• Radiology: Payment is Rs. 500 per sonography.
• Pathologist: Payment is Rs. 2,500 per visit, with two visits per week at the required centre.
• Urologist, Oncologist and Cardiologist: Payment is Rs. 7,500 per OPD visit with a minimum consultation requirement. Cardiologist may get Rs. 500 extra for 2D ECHO cases, subject to the notice limit.
• No TA/DA: TMC will not pay travelling allowance or dearness allowance for panel doctors.

Selection Process

The selection process is based on offline interview and document verification.

1. Application submission: Carry the filled application form and documents to the interview venue on 3 July 2026.
2. Document Verification: TMC will check original certificates, qualification proof, experience documents and medical registration proof.
3. Interview: The interview will be held at 11:00 AM before the concerned authority.
4. Panel approval: Final selection and panel placement will depend on TMC requirements and the decision of the municipal authority.
