Who Can Apply?

• Bachelor's Degree with Chemistry as one of the subjects from any recognized University in India

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 34 years
• Age calculated as on 01 July 2026
• Age relaxation:
  • SC / ST / BC / EWS candidates: 5 years relaxation (up to 39 years)
  • PwD candidates: 10 years relaxation
  • Ex-Servicemen, NCC Instructors, and Telangana Government Employees: as per applicable rules

Salary

• Pay Scale: Rs. 45,960 – 1,24,150 per month
• Entry-level basic pay: Rs. 45,960
• Plus DA, HRA, and other allowances as per Telangana government rules

Selection Process

1. Written Examination (Objective Type) — 300 marks total

You will get 300 questions across two papers:

• Paper-I: General Studies & General Abilities — 150 marks
• Paper-II: Chemistry — 150 marks

The exam is objective type (multiple choice). The written examination is tentatively scheduled for July 2026. Selection is based solely on the written exam score — there is no interview.

• Monitor air, water, and soil quality samples as per prescribed standards in the Telangana Pollution Control Board laboratories
• Conduct chemical analysis of industrial effluents, emissions, and ambient environmental samples
• Prepare and maintain accurate analytical records, test reports, and scientific documentation
• Assist in inspection of industries to assess compliance with pollution control norms
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment used for environmental testing
• Support enforcement activities by providing technical data and expert analysis as required by TPCB
• Work in coordination with senior scientists and environmental engineers on pollution control projects
