The Office of the Chief Executive Officer, Tripura Employees' State Insurance Society (TESIS) has invited an Expression of Interest (EOI) for 3 Insurance Medical Officer (IMO) posts in various ESI Dispensaries across Tripura. The engagement is on a purely contract basis for 1 (one) year, and the panel list will be valid for one year for future recruitment. There is no written exam — selection is done through a walk-in interview based on Academic Performance Index (API) and interview marks.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have an MBBS (Allopath) degree from an institute recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
• Domicile: You must be a permanent resident of Tripura.
• Preference: Preference will be given to medical professionals who have worked in the Tripura Health Service (Govt. of Tripura) or any ESI Hospital / Dispensary.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 70 years as on 08 May 2026.
• There is no minimum age mentioned in the notification.

Salary

• You will get a fixed honorarium of Rs. 60,000 per month.
• No other allowance is admissible during the service tenure — only the fixed salary.
• No TA / DA will be given for joining.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection will be done through a Walk-in Interview based on the following:

1. Academic Performance Index (API): 100 marks — calculated from your MBBS exam marks and the number of additional attempts (if any) in MBBS.
2. Interview: 10 marks — assessment by the selection committee on walk-in interview day.
3. Document Verification: You must produce self-attested documents on age, qualification, caste certificate, and permanent residence on the day of the interview.

A panel list of selected candidates will be kept for future recruitment and will be valid for 1 (one) year.

1. Download the prescribed application format and API calculation sheet from labour.tripura.gov.in or tripura.gov.in.
2. Fill the application in the prescribed format along with the duly completed API calculation sheet.
3. Attach self-attested copies of all required documents (age proof, MBBS mark sheets, caste certificate, permanent residence certificate, MBBS degree).
4. Submit the application along with documents to the office of the Chief Executive Officer, Tripura Employees' State Insurance Society, Shram Bhawan, Office Lane, Agartala.
5. Make sure your application reaches the office on or before 4 June 2026.

• Provide medical care and outpatient services to ESI beneficiaries in the assigned dispensary
• Diagnose patients and prescribe medicines as per ESI treatment protocols

• Refer serious cases to higher ESI hospitals for specialist care
• Issue medical certificates, fitness reports, and disability assessments as per ESI rules
• Coordinate with paramedical staff for smooth running of the dispensary
• Follow guidelines issued by the Tripura ESI Society and the Health Department
