The District Health and Family Welfare Society, Arogyakeralam, Malappuram has released Notification No. NHM/794/2026-A3 dated 13 May 2026. The hiring is for two categories under the National Health Mission — Mid Level Service Provider (MLSP) for primary health centres and Development Therapist (Anuyathra) for new-born follow-up clinics. You must be able to read and write Malayalam and be willing to work in any institution in Malappuram District.

Who Can Apply?

For Mid Level Service Provider (MLSP):

• Option 1: B.Sc Nursing with Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council Registration Certificate
• Option 2: GNM with Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council Registration Certificate plus 1 year post-qualification experience

For Development Therapist (Anuyathra):

• Option 1: Degree in any subject + PG Diploma in Clinical Child Development
• Option 2: Diploma in Clinical Child Development
• Desirable: 1 year of experience in a new-born follow-up clinic

Common Requirements:

• You must be able to read and write Malayalam
• You must be willing to work in any institution in Malappuram District
• If you are already working under NHM in this district, attach a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the District Programme Manager

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 40 years as on 01 May 2026 (applies to both posts)

Salary

• Mid Level Service Provider (MLSP): Rs. 20,500 per month (consolidated)
• Development Therapist (Anuyathra): Rs. 20,000 per month (consolidated)
• These posts are temporary in nature during the period of the Mission and do not give any claim for permanency

Selection Process

Selection is based on qualification, experience and performance in the following stages:

1. Written Exam: Only qualified candidates (as per notification) will be permitted to write the exam after certificate verification
2. Interview: Only those who clear the written exam will be called for interview
3. Certificate Verification: All certificates checked before the exam or interview

The exam shortlist and interview rank list will be published on arogyakeralam.gov.in. No TA/DA will be paid for the exam or interview.

• Provide primary healthcare services at Health and Wellness Centres under NHM Malappuram
• Handle out-patient consultations, basic screening and follow-up of common health conditions
• Support maternal and child health services including immunization and new-born care
• Assist Development Therapists in tracking child development in follow-up clinics
• Maintain patient records, registers and monthly reports in Malayalam and English
• Coordinate with ASHA, Anganwadi and Junior Public Health Nurses for community outreach
• Follow all NHM rules, protocols and Kerala Nurses Council guidelines on patient care
