About This Job

STPI is hiring 15 Apprentice Trainees for a period of one year under the Apprenticeship Act-1961. If you hold a B.Tech, Diploma, B.Com, or B.A. degree completed in April 2021 or later, you can apply online. The last date to apply is 11 May 2026. Stipend ranges from Rs. 10,900 to Rs. 15,000 per month depending on your qualification. Age limit is up to 27 years for unreserved candidates (as on 11 May 2026).

Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), an Autonomous Society under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), has released Advt. no. 7(1)/I/STPI-HQ/2026-27 dated 22 April 2026 inviting online applications for 15 Apprentice Trainee posts across its centers in India. STPI currently operates 71 centers providing Statutory Services, High Speed Internet, and IPLC links to exporters under the STP/EHTP scheme. This is a one-year apprenticeship under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) — ideal for fresh graduates and diploma holders looking to gain government-sector work experience.

• B.Tech / B.E. (Electronics, Electricals, E&C, Telecom, CS, IT): 8 posts — Bengaluru (2), Bhubaneswar (1), Chennai (1), Guwahati (1), Gurugram (1), Hyderabad (1), Noida (1) — Stipend: Rs. 15,000/month
• Diploma (Electronics, Electricals, E&C, Telecom, CS, IT) / B.Com / B.A.: 7 posts — Bhubaneswar (3), Mohali (1), Noida (1), Pune (1), Hyderabad (1) — Stipend: Diploma Rs. 10,900/month, BA/B.Com Rs. 12,300/month

Who Can Apply?

For B.Tech / B.E. Posts (8 vacancies):

• You need a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics, Electricals, Electronics & Communications, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or Information Technology from a recognised university.

For Diploma / B.Com / B.A. Posts (7 vacancies):

• Diploma in Electronics, Electricals, Electronics & Communications, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or Information Technology from a recognised institution, OR
• Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from a recognised university.

Other Conditions:

• Your degree or diploma must have been completed in April 2021 or thereafter.
• Candidates who have already completed an apprenticeship at STPI or any other organisation are not eligible.
• You must register on the NATS Portal (nats.education.gov.in) before applying through STPI's portal.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age — Unreserved: 27 years
• Maximum age — OBC: 30 years
• Maximum age — SC/ST: 32 years
• Age is calculated as on 11/05/2026.

Stipend

• B.Tech / B.E. candidates: Rs. 15,000 per month
• Diploma candidates: Rs. 10,900 per month
• B.Com / B.A. candidates: Rs. 12,300 per month
• The Government's share of stipend is paid directly to your bank account via DBT through the NATS portal after successful registration.

Selection Process

Selection is done in 2 stages:

1. Shortlisting: Based on the marks obtained in the interview. Candidates are shortlisted depending on the number of vacancies in each discipline.
2. Interview: Final selection is based on performance in the interview. Reservation rules as per Govt. of India apply.

How to Apply

1. First, register on the NATS Portal at nats.education.gov.in. You will get a unique NATS Enrolment ID.
2. Go to STPI's Web Portal at stpi.in (Career Section) or directly visit recruitment.stpi.in/app.
3. Fill in the online application form and enter your NATS Enrolment ID.
4. Upload your documents and submit the form.
5. Applications received after 11 May 2026 will not be considered.

• Assist engineers and technical staff with day-to-day operations at the assigned STPI centre
• Support software, network, or IT infrastructure management as per your discipline
• Handle data entry, documentation, and record-keeping tasks assigned by supervisors
• Participate in on-the-job training activities under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS)
• Follow all STPI guidelines, office procedures, and safety norms during the apprenticeship period
• Prepare reports and assist in administrative or technical assignments as directed
