The District Collector and District Magistrate, Srikakulam, has issued Notification No. A1/217/SRD/WDA/2026 dated 31-03-2026 under G.O.Ms.No.15 of the Department for Women, Children, Differently Abled and Senior Citizens (Prog.II) dated 14-11-2025. This is a special recruitment drive to fill 10 backlog vacancies across various offices in Srikakulam District, including the Collectorate, DRDA, CDPO offices, Hostels, and Welfare of Differently Abled offices. Who Can Apply?

Junior Assistant (3 Posts)

• Qualification: Any Degree from a recognized university
• Additional: Must have passed the DSC (District Selection Committee) computer proficiency exam

Office Subordinate (1 Post)

• Qualification: 7th class pass

Sweeper (1 Post)

• Qualification: Ability to read and write in Telugu

Public Health Worker (5 Posts)

• Qualification: Ability to read and write

Domicile: Candidates must belong to Srikakulam District only (residence certificate from Gram Sachivalayam required).

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 52 years
• Age as on: 01-07-2026

Salary

Junior Assistant (Group-IV)

• Pay Scale: Rs. 16,400 -- 49,870 per month (as per AP RPS 2022)
• Additional allowances like DA, HRA, and CCA as per AP Government rules

Class-IV Posts (Office Subordinate, Sweeper, Public Health Worker)

• Pay Scale: Rs. 13,000 -- 40,270 per month (as per AP RPS 2022)
• Additional allowances like DA, HRA, and CCA as per AP Government rules

Selection Process

For Junior Assistant (DSC Group-IV Posts)

1. Educational Qualification Check -- You must have a degree from a recognized university
2. DSC Computer Proficiency Exam -- You need to have passed the computer proficiency exam conducted by the DSC

4. Medical Examination -- Disability certificate verification by the District Medical Board

For Class-IV Posts (ODSC)

1. Physical Fitness Assessment -- Marks given based on your physical capabilities
2. Age-based Marks -- Marks allocated based on your age
3. Employment Seniority -- Priority given based on your employment exchange registration seniority
4. Medical Examination -- Disability certificate verification by the District Medical Board through Appellate Medical Board

Note: For hearing disability, candidates must meet the 2016 disability standards -- minimum 70 dB loss in speech frequencies in both ears, or 60 dB in speech frequencies and 70 dB in other frequencies.
