State Bank of India has released Advertisement No. CRPD/SCO/2026-27/11 for 34 Specialist Cadre Officer posts across six different roles in its Cyber Security Centre of Excellence (CSCoE) and AI teams. The recruitment includes 3 Deputy Vice President (DVP) posts on a 3-year contract basis and 3 Deputy Manager posts on a regular basis, with the Deputy Manager - AI Specialist category alone accounting for 25 of the 34 openings. Who Can Apply?

For DVP - Cyber Innovation & Simulation Lab, DVP - Citizen Centric Initiatives, DVP - Cyber Security (Contractual, SMGS-V):

• Qualification: BE/BTech in any discipline OR MCA/ME/MTech/MSc in any discipline from a recognized university
• Experience: Minimum 12 years of overall experience, with at least 6 years in cyber security innovation, technology strategy, citizen-centric digital initiatives, or cyber defence and intelligence, depending on the post
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, PMP, or MBA (Technology Management)

For Deputy Manager - AI Specialists (Regular):

• Qualification: B.Tech/B.E in Computer Science, Data Science & AI, Software Engineering, IT, or Electronics with minimum 50% marks OR MCA OR M.Tech/M.Sc in the same disciplines
• Experience: 4 years of post-qualification IT experience, including at least 2 years in designing ML/Deep Learning models, GenAI, or RAG pipeline deployment
• Preferred certifications: AWS Certified AI Practitioner, Google Cloud Professional ML Engineer, or IBM AI Engineering Professional Certificate

For Deputy Manager - IT Security Expert and Deputy Manager - Cyber Security Analyst (Regular):

• Qualification: B.Tech/B.E in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or Electronics with minimum 50% marks OR MCA OR M.Tech/M.Sc in the same disciplines
• Experience: 4 years of post-qualification experience in the cyber security or information technology domain
• Preferred certifications: ISO 27001, CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, or CCSP

You will need to submit an up-to-date experience certificate from your employer clearly mentioning your job title, duration, and responsibilities. Training and teaching experience will not count towards eligibility.

Age Limit

• For DVP posts, you should be between 35 and 45 years old as on 31 July 2026.
• For Deputy Manager posts, you should be between 25 and 35 years old as on 31 July 2026.
• Age Relaxation: OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates get 3 years, SC/ST candidates get 5 years, and PwBD candidates get 10 to 15 years of relaxation depending on category.

Salary

• DVP posts (Contractual, SMGS-V): Annual CTC up to Rs. 60,00,000, split into 90% fixed pay and 10% variable pay, with an annual increment of up to 10% based on performance.
• Deputy Manager posts (Regular): Basic pay starts at Rs. 64,820 per month in the scale 64820-2340/1-67160-2680/10-93960, plus DA, HRA, CCA, Provident Fund, NPS, Leave Fare Concession, and medical facilities as per Bank rules.

Selection Process

The selection happens in 2 stages:

1. Shortlisting: The Bank shortlists candidates based on qualification, experience, and profile match. Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria alone does not guarantee an interview call.
2. Interview and Document Verification: The interview carries 100 marks, and your documents are verified against the originals when you appear. The final merit list is based on interview scores only, with older candidates ranked higher in case of a tie.

Your engagement is subject to being declared medically fit as per Bank requirements. If shortlisted for interview from outside your base location, SBI reimburses air fare up to Rs. 15,000 for DVP posts and up to Rs. 10,000 for Deputy Manager posts, or actual fare, whichever is lower.
