The National Health Mission, Panchkula (Haryana) has released Advertisement No. NHM/Admin/2026-27/Spl-123 dated 04 April 2026 inviting applications from eligible specialist doctors. This is a great chance for MBBS doctors with a PG degree or diploma in Gynecology, Pediatrics, General Medicine, or Anesthesia to serve in government health facilities across Haryana. The initial contract runs till 31 March 2027 and can be renewed yearly based on your performance.

The highest number of vacancies are in Kaithal (20), Bhiwani (19), and Fatehabad (18).

Who Can Apply?

• Educational Qualification: You need an MBBS degree along with a postgraduate qualification — MD, Diploma, or DNB — in the relevant specialty (Gynecology/Obstetrics, Pediatrics, General Medicine, or Anesthesia)
• Medical Registration: You must hold permanent registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI), National Medical Council (NMC), or any State Medical Council
• Experience: Not mandatory as per the notification, but experience certificates should be submitted if applicable

Salary

• MBBS + MD/MS/DNB holders: Rs. 1,50,000 per month (consolidated)
• MBBS + Diploma holders: Rs. 1,00,000 per month (consolidated)
• The existing NHM salary structure applies, and salary may be revised from time to time as per government instructions
• No TA/DA will be paid for the document verification or recruitment process

Selection Process

There is no written exam for this recruitment. Selection is based on:

1. Online Registration: Register on the NHM Haryana portal at nhmharyana.gov.in under Careers section
2. Video Conferencing Interview: Interviews are conducted every Wednesday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM via VC. Specialty-wise slots will be given in the morning and displayed on the NHM website on the day of interview
3. District Preference: You must indicate your preference for 3 districts on the portal at least one day before the scheduled VC
4. Document Verification: After selection, report to the office of the concerned Civil Surgeon in the allotted district every Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with all required documents
5. Medical Fitness Check: Selection is subject to the candidate proving medical fitness and verification of character and antecedents

• Manage patient records, maintain case documentation, and prepare monthly reports for the District Health Society
• Work with the district health team to improve maternal and child health outcomes under NHM programs
• Prepare for and attend administrative meetings, review sessions, and training programs organized by NHM or the Civil Surgeon's office
