Responsibilities

  • Implement Climate Change Risk Management Policy and develop frameworks aligned with organizational goals
  • Identify climate risk at portfolio and account level to prioritize customer/sector segments for assessing climate-related risks
  • Conduct comprehensive assessment of the Bank's exposure to climate change-related financial risks (Physical and Transition)
  • Calculate carbon footprint in lending portfolio at portfolio/account level and monitor periodical emissions data
  • Prepare data inputs and execute climate scenarios and stress testing cases, integrating Climate Stress Testing with Credit and Market risk
  • Conduct primary and secondary research on regulatory guidelines (RBI, SEBI, BASEL) and globally accepted standards (TCFD, GRI, SBTi) for climate-related disclosures
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to climate change risks including disclosures and reporting
  • Review annual Climate Change Risk Management Policy and operationalize it
  • Analyse and interpret climate-related data and prepare climate risk related metrics and reports
  • Provide climate change risk related training and workshops

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification

First class BE/BTech in Environmental Engineering/Climate Change OR First class PG/Master's in Environmental Engineering, Climate Change, Climate Finance, Sustainability, Statistics, MBA (Finance/Banking & Finance)

Preferred Qualification

Financial Risk Manager (FRM) by GARP, or Professional Risk Managers by PRMIA, or Sustainability and Climate Risk by GARP or any Climate Risk related course from a globally reputed institute.

Required Skills
