About This Job

State Bank of India is hiring 7,150 Apprentices under Advertisement No. CRPD/APPR/2026-27/07. The online registration was originally shown from 19 May 2026 to 08 June 2026 and the official advertisement now states it is extended till 15 June 2026. Graduates can apply for one state only. The apprenticeship period is one year with a stipend of Rs. 15,000 per month.

- Learn day-to-day branch banking operations during the training period

- Follow bank rules, KYC norms, and data privacy guidelines
- Complete the skill evaluation (trade) test for the National Apprenticeship Certificate

The online written test has 100 questions for 100 marks. You get 60 minutes in total, with each section separately timed.
Subject-wise Breakdown
- General/Financial Awareness: 25 questions (25 marks), 15 minutes
- General English: 25 questions (25 marks), 15 minutes
- Quantitative Aptitude: 25 questions (25 marks), 15 minutes
- Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude: 25 questions (25 marks), 15 minutes
Negative Marking: 1/4th of the marks for a question is deducted for each wrong answer.
Exam Language: English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages depending on the state (General English section is in English only).
Exam Type: Objective (MCQ), online. Merit list is prepared state-wise and category-wise.
