RVNL Executive Director Civil Recruitment 2026: Overview

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) is looking for an Executive Director (Civil) for its Bhopal office. This is a senior opening on an immediate absorption basis — the selected officer is absorbed into RVNL itself rather than coming on a time-bound deputation. It is meant for serving civil engineers who already hold a senior grade in government, the railways or a PSU.

The role suits officers with a strong record in infrastructure project execution, contract management or business development. Prior experience of working in a PSU will be preferred, and pay and allowances follow the IDA pattern for the grade.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Serving officials only: You must be a serving official (including officers currently on deputation) holding a qualifying senior grade substantively. Private-sector candidates are not covered by this notice.
• Absorption: Selection is for immediate absorption into RVNL, so you join the corporation's own rolls.
• Medical fitness: You need to be physically and medically fit; if selected, you will go through a medical examination as per RVNL's policy.
• Cut-off date: Age and eligibility are counted as on the closing date of the vacancy notice.
• Shortlisting: RVNL shortlists candidates based on their eligibility and experience in the relevant field before calling them for interview.
