RSLSA Panel Advocate Recruitment 2026

Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority (RSLSA) is preparing Panel Advocate / Panel Lawyer lists for District Legal Services Authorities and Taluka Legal Services Committees across Rajasthan. If you are enrolled with a Bar Council and have at least 3 years of continuous regular practice, you can apply offline. The application must reach the concerned DLSA or TLSC office by 15 June 2026 at 5:00 PM. This is a legal aid panel empanelment, so the number of panel lawyers will be decided by each authority based on work load and eligible applications.

RSLSA Panel Advocate Recruitment 2026

RSLSA has issued a notice dated 27 May 2026 for preparing panel advocate lists under legal aid schemes and programmes run by NALSA, RSLSA, District Legal Services Authorities and Taluka Legal Services Committees. The panel will cover work at district headquarters, taluka courts, tribunals, forums and authorities. No fixed vacancy number is given; each DLSA/TLSC will prepare panels as per the number and type of legal aid cases handled at that location.

The notice is useful for advocates who want to work on legal aid cases and help people who cannot afford private legal support. The panel is normally prepared for one year and can be renewed up to three years as per rules and performance needs.

Panel Areas

• Criminal Panel: Matters such as maintenance, domestic violence, POCSO, NDPS, CBI, criminal courts and other criminal cases.
• Civil Panel: Civil suits, claim matters, family disputes, labour and employment disputes, industrial disputes, environment matters, consumer forum cases, service matters and similar civil work.
• Revenue Panel: Revenue court and related authority matters.
• Child and Special Court Panel: Child courts, Juvenile Justice Board, POCSO, CWC and related panels where required.

Who Can Apply?

• Professional status: You must be a legal practitioner or advocate registered with a Bar Council.
• Experience: You need at least 3 years of continuous regular practice as an advocate.
• Practice area: Your experience in the relevant court, forum or authority will matter during panel preparation.
• Category representation: The notice says proper representation may be considered for SC, ST, OBC, SBC, women and disabled advocates wherever possible.
• Training: Selected panel advocates must attend training programmes arranged by the authority or committee.

Honorarium and Case Fees

• Panel advocates will get fees and expenses as per NALSA (Free and Competent Legal Services) Regulations, 2010 and the rules followed by RSLSA.

• Panel or retainer advocates must not demand any fee, charge or benefit from the person whose legal aid case is assigned to them.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

1. Application Scrutiny: The concerned DLSA/TLSC will check whether the advocate meets the Bar Council registration and experience conditions.
2. Experience Review: If more eligible advocates apply than the required panel size, preference may be based on relevant experience. If two or more advocates have equal experience, the notice says younger advocates may get preference.
3. Representation Check: The authority may consider suitable representation for SC, ST, OBC, SBC, women and disabled advocates.
