RITES Limited is hiring 14 retired Government and PSU employees on contract basis for the dedicated test track project between Gudha and Thathana Mithri stations of Jodhpur Division, North Western Railway. If you are a retired Railway Officer (JS grade and above) or a non-Railway superannuated official with relevant engineering experience, you can apply. RITES Limited (A Navratna Enterprise of Government of India) has issued Vacancy Circular No. PERS/9/6/RES/2026 dated 15 May 2026 for 14 positions across 13 disciplines. RITES is providing Maintenance Services for the dedicated test track between Gudha and Thathana Mithri stations under the Jodhpur Division of North Western Railway. This is a contractual re-engagement for retired professionals — Railway officers in JAG/JS grades and above, and non-Railway superannuated officials with executive-level experience. The posting is at Nawa City in Didwana-Kuchaman district of Rajasthan.

- Qualification: Graduate degree (or equivalent) in any Engineering discipline from a recognised university
- Experience: Retired IRSE officer of JAG and above grade, OR non-Railway superannuated official with minimum 15 years' experience in railway track maintenance including minimum 5 years at executive level
For Asstt. Team Leader (Civil) — VC 18/26(E):
- Qualification: Graduate degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering from a recognised university
- Experience: Retired JS grade and above Railway Officer of Civil Engineering department, OR non-Railway superannuated official with minimum 10 years' experience in railway track maintenance including minimum 5 years at executive level
For Asstt. Team Leader (S&T) — VC 19/26(E):
- Qualification: Graduate degree (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from a recognised university
- Experience: Retired JS grade and above Railway Officer of Electrical/Electronics department, OR non-Railway superannuated official with minimum 10 years' experience in S&T maintenance including minimum 5 years executive experience
For Asstt. Team Leader (TRD & OHE) — VC 20/26(E):
- Qualification: Graduate degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics Engineering from a recognised university

For Assistant Manager (TRD&OHE) — VC 29/26(E):
- Qualification: Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics Engineering from a recognised institution
- Experience: Retired Railway official of Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics department with minimum 3 years' experience as Jr. Engineer (TRD/OHE), OR non-Railway superannuated official with minimum 5 years' experience in TRD maintenance
Candidates who have been imposed any major penalty during the last 10 years, or minor penalty during the last 5 years of service, are NOT eligible to apply.
Age Limit
- Maximum age: 64 years as on 31 May 2026
- The role is meant for retired/superannuated officials only
Salary / Remuneration
- Remuneration shall be fixed at 50% of the last basic pay drawn at the time of superannuation
- Plus Transport Allowance, as applicable
- Re-engaged employees will NOT be entitled to increment, Dearness Allowance (DA), or House Rent Allowance (HRA)
Selection Process
The selection is based on:

Responsibilities
- Lead the maintenance team for the dedicated test track between Gudha and Thathana Mithri stations
- Supervise track, bridge, P-Way, S&T, TRD and OHE maintenance activities at the Jodhpur Division site
- Plan inspection schedules and ensure timely repairs of railway infrastructure
- Coordinate with Railway officials and contractors for smooth project execution
- Maintain daily reports, inspection registers and project documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and section engineers deployed at site
- Ensure safety standards and operational guidelines are followed at all times
- Report progress and issues to the RITES project management team
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
Graduate degree in Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics) for officer-level posts; Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics Engineering for TRD&OHE Manager/Assistant Manager posts. Must be a retired Government / PSU / Railway employee.
Preferred Qualification
Retired Indian Railway Service Engineers (IRSE) of JAG grade and above, with track maintenance and project execution experience
Required Skills
