RITES Limited (RITES), a Navratna Enterprise of the Government of India under the Ministry of Railways, has released Notice No. PERS/9/6/RES/2026 for 10 posts of Asstt. Team Leader, Manager, and Asstt. Manager to support Maintenance Services for its dedicated test track between Gudha and Thathana Mithri stations on the Jodhpur Division of North Western Railway. RITES is a leading transport infrastructure consultancy that works in railways, highways, ports, airports, and urban transport projects, both in India and abroad. Only retired Government or PSU employees can apply for this re-engagement scheme, which covers Civil, Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics, and Signal & Telecom disciplines. Retired JS-grade-and-above Railway Officers of the relevant department, or experienced non-Railway professionals with the matching years of experience, are both eligible to apply. Who Can Apply?

For Civil Engineering Posts (P-Way, Bridge, Works):

• Qualification: Graduate degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised university.
• You can also apply if you are a retired JS-grade and above Railway Officer of the Civil Engineering department, OR a non-Railway retired official with at least 10 years of rail track maintenance experience including 5 years at executive level.

For TRD & OHE / Electrical-Mechanical Posts:

• Qualification: Graduate degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics Engineering from a recognised university.
• You can also apply if you are a retired JS-grade and above Railway Officer of the Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics department, OR a non-Railway retired official with at least 10 years of TRD maintenance experience including 5 years at executive level.

For Asstt. Manager (S&T):

• Qualification: Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from a recognised institution.
• You can also apply if you are a retired Railway official of the Electrical/Electronics engineering department with at least 3 years as Jr. Engineer (S&T), OR a non-Railway retired official with 5 years of S&T maintenance experience.

Note: You must be a retired Government or PSU employee to apply for these posts. Candidates who received a major penalty in the last 10 years, or a minor penalty in the last 5 years of service, are not eligible to apply.

Age Limit

• Maximum age is 64 years as on 31 July 2026.

Salary

• Pay is fixed at 50% of the last basic pay you drew at the time of superannuation, plus applicable Transport Allowance.
• You will not get increment, Dearness Allowance (DA), or House Rent Allowance (HRA) on this contract.
• The engagement is on a contract basis, initially for 1 year, extendable until the assignment is completed, subject to mutual consent and your performance.

Selection Process

Selection is based on registration and document screening, since this is a re-engagement scheme rather than a fresh open recruitment:

1. Online Registration: Register under Career > Expert Registration on the RITES website.
2. Document Verification: Submit your registration document, Annexure-A & B, and supporting papers by email for eligibility screening.

Your actual deployment will depend on RITES fulfilling its site requirement for that discipline, so being shortlisted does not guarantee immediate joining.

• Oversee maintenance of the dedicated test track between Gudha and Thathana Mithri stations
• Inspect track, bridge, OHE, or signal & telecom assets as per your discipline

• Coordinate with Railway officials for safety compliance and inspections
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment condition
• Guide junior engineers and technical staff on-site
• Report progress and issues to project management regularly
