RITES Limited JGM DGM Manager Recruitment 2026

Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES Limited) is a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways. RITES has invited online applications for 5 posts of Joint General Manager (Civil), Deputy General Manager (Transport Economist) and Manager (Transport Economist). The advertisement number is RG-02/04/2026.

This is a great chance for experienced professionals in civil engineering and transport economics to join a well-known government company. The initial posting will be in Gurugram, Haryana, but you may be posted anywhere in India.

• Joint General Manager (Civil) - Post Code 48/26: 2 posts (1 UR, 1 EWS)
• DGM (Transport Economist) - Post Code 49/26: 2 posts (1 UR, 1 OBC-NCL)
• Manager (Transport Economist) - Post Code 50/26: 1 post (SC)

Who Can Apply

• JGM (Civil): B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks. You need at least 12 years of experience. Maximum age is 45 years.
• DGM (Transport Economist): Master's Degree in Economics with minimum 60% marks. You need at least 8 years of experience. Maximum age is 42 years.
• Manager (Transport Economist): Master's Degree in Economics with minimum 60% marks. You need at least 5 years of experience. Maximum age is 38 years.

Age is counted as on 01 February 2026. Age relaxation applies as per government rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen.

Preferred Qualifications

• For JGM: Master's degree or PG Diploma in Transport Planning, Urban Planning, Highway Engineering, or MBA
• For DGM and Manager: PhD in Transport Economics is preferred
• Experience in projects funded by World Bank, ADB, or JICA is an advantage

Salary

Pay is on IDA (Industrial Dearness Allowance) pattern:

• JGM: Rs. 80,000 - 2,20,000 per month
• DGM: Rs. 70,000 - 2,00,000 per month
• Manager: Rs. 60,000 - 1,80,000 per month

You will also get DA, HRA and other perks as per RITES company rules. Probation period is 1 year.

Selection Process

There is no written exam for these posts. Selection will be based on personal interview and document verification. If you are working in a Government or PSU organisation, you must bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview.
