Rail India Technical and Economic Service Limited (RITES Limited), a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, has invited applications for 3 Individual Consultant posts. These are contract-based positions for experienced professionals to work on infrastructure projects in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

This is a consultancy engagement, not a regular government job. Selected candidates will work as independent consultants for a tenure of 1 year, which can be extended up to the age of 65.

• Project Leader / Team Leader: 1 Post — Rs. 3,00,000 per month
• SHE Expert (Safety, Health and Environment): 2 Posts — Rs. 85,000 per month

Who Can Apply

Project Leader:

• Graduate in Civil Engineering
• At least 25 years of total experience in civil construction
• Minimum 10 years of experience in major infrastructure projects
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Team Leader, Resident Engineer (RE), or Project Manager in Railways, Metro, Flyover, or similar projects
• Maximum age: 63 years as on 09 March 2026

SHE Expert:

• Graduate in Engineering, or Master of Arts / Master of Science in Safety, or Master in Environment with Diploma in Safety
• At least 10 years of total experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience as SHE Engineer on major construction projects
• Maximum age: 63 years as on 09 March 2026

Salary Details

• Project Leader: Rs. 3,00,000 per month (consolidated)
• SHE Expert: Rs. 85,000 per month (consolidated)

Please note: There is no PF, ESI, or Gratuity benefit. This is an independent consultant engagement.

Selection Process

There is no written exam for this recruitment. Selection will be done through:

2. Interview

The interview will be held on 10 March 2026 at RITES Corporate Office, Gurugram, or via Video Conferencing.

• Project Leader:
• Lead and manage the project team for infrastructure construction in Bengaluru
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all civil construction activities on site
• Monitor project progress against timelines and budgets
• Liaise with client, contractors, and government authorities
• Review technical drawings, designs, and specifications
• Ensure quality and compliance of construction work as per standards
• Submit regular progress reports to RITES management
• SHE Expert (Safety, Health and Environment):
• Plan and implement Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) policies on the construction site
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits
• Identify hazards and take corrective actions to prevent accidents
• Train site staff and workers on safety procedures
• Investigate incidents and near-misses and prepare reports
• Ensure all environmental and safety regulations are followed on site
• Maintain records of safety audits, incidents, and compliance reports
