The company needs one Deputy General Manager (Joint Program Manager), one Senior Manager (Cyber Security Expert), and one Manager (API Developer) for its IT and digital transformation initiatives. Who Can Apply?

Deputy General Manager (Joint Program Manager) - VC RG/13/26:

• Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/Technology/Computer Science/IT/Electronics & Telecommunications or a related field, OR a Post Graduate degree in Electronics/Computer Science/IT/Computer Applications, from an AICTE/UGC recognised institute.
• Experience: You need 11 years of total experience, with at least 5 years managing large IT/digital transformation programs, government stakeholder relations, multi-vendor contracts, and enterprise application development.
• Pay grade proof: You should have worked for at least 2 years in the IDA pay scale of Rs. 60,000-1,80,000 (or CDA Level 11), or have an annual CTC of at least Rs. 24.10 lakh if coming from the private sector.

Senior Manager (Cyber Security Expert) - VC RG/14/26:

• Qualification: Same educational background as above (Computer/IT/Electronics engineering or PG degree).
• Experience: You need 8 years of total experience, with at least 6 years in cybersecurity — designing enterprise security solutions, VAPT, risk assessments, IAM/MFA, and SIEM-based incident response.
• Pay grade proof: IDA pay scale of Rs. 50,000-1,60,000 (or CDA Level 9) for 2 years, or private sector CTC of at least Rs. 20.16 lakh.

Manager (API Developer) - VC RG/15/26:

• Qualification: Same educational background as above.
• Experience: You need 5 years of experience developing and maintaining REST APIs, microservices, and API integrations in an Agile environment.
• Pay grade proof: IDA pay scale of Rs. 40,000-1,40,000 (or CDA Level 7) for 2 years, or private sector CTC of at least Rs. 16.27 lakh.

UR/EWS candidates need a first-class degree or minimum 60% marks; SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD candidates need at least 50% marks in their qualifying degree.

Age Limit

• Deputy General Manager: up to 41 years
• Senior Manager: up to 38 years
• Manager: up to 35 years
• Your age, experience, and all other eligibility criteria are counted as on 24 August 2026, the last date to apply.

Salary

• Deputy General Manager: IDA pay scale of Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 1,80,000 per month (equivalent to CDA Pay Level 11).
• Senior Manager: IDA pay scale of Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,60,000 per month (equivalent to CDA Pay Level 9).
• Manager: IDA pay scale of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1,40,000 per month (equivalent to CDA Pay Level 7).
• You will also get other allowances as per RITES rules.

Selection Process (No Written Exam for DGM Post)

The selection process is different for each post:

1. For Deputy General Manager: Only a personal interview — 65% weightage for technical and professional proficiency, and 35% for personality, communication, and competency.
2. For Senior Manager and Manager: A written test of 125 objective questions (2.5 hours, no negative marking), followed by document scrutiny and an interview.

You need at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD candidates) in the written test to move ahead. PwBD candidates get 50 minutes of extra compensatory time.
