Vacancy Breakdown

Who Can Apply?

• Eligibility: You must be a serving Group 'A' officer (typically from Indian Railways or an equivalent government/PSU cadre) in the T&E (Traffic & Executive) discipline, holding Selection Grade / SAG / NF-SAG rank as applicable to the post you are applying for.
• Experience: A minimum of 18 years of combined regular Group 'A' service is required.
• Mode of Application: You cannot apply directly — your application must be forwarded by your Cadre Controlling Authority along with your service records.

Selection Process

Selection is not through a written exam. RITES follows this process:

1. Document Verification: RITES checks your forwarded application, Vigilance Clearance, Integrity Certificate, and APAR (Annual Performance Appraisal Reports) of the last 5 years.
2. Merit Assessment: Eligible applications are evaluated against the marking criteria set out in the vacancy circular's annexure, based on your qualifications, grade, and experience.

The deputation tenure follows Railway Board and RITES norms, and RITES provides company/leased accommodation to the officer who joins on deputation.
