RITES Limited, a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, has released a notification to fill 2 Civil Engineering posts on a contract basis for water supply, sewage treatment, drainage and building projects in Gujarat. The engagement is on IDA pay scale for an initial period of one year, extendable until the project is completed. Who Can Apply?

Manager-Civil (CP/10/26)

• Qualification: Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years in STP/WTP/Drainage/MPS/WSS or building of water supply/sewage treatment plant/infrastructure/building works.

Engineer-Civil (CP/11/26)

• Qualification: Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in STP/WTP/Drainage/WSS or building of water supply/sewage treatment plant/infrastructure/building works.

UR/EWS candidates need a first class degree or minimum 60% marks. Reserved category candidates applying against reserved posts need at least 50% marks.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 40 years as on 21 June 2026 (last date of application).
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST - 5 years, OBC-NCL - 3 years, PwBD - 10 years (over and above SC/ST/OBC relaxation, where the post is identified suitable).

Salary

• Manager-Civil: Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,60,000 per month (IDA pay scale).
• Engineer-Civil: Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 1,20,000 per month (IDA pay scale).
• You will also get DA, fixed/variable allowances at 23% of basic pay, HRA/lease, PF and gratuity as per company rules.

Application Fee

• All candidates: Rs. 600 plus applicable taxes.
• SC/ST/PwD candidates pay the fee at the time of application, which is refunded later after they take part in the written exam/interview.
• Payment mode: Online only.

Selection Process

Selection will be done in two stages:

1. Written Test: 125 objective questions of 1 mark each in 2.5 hours. There is no negative marking. You need at least 50% (45% for reserved category against reserved posts) to qualify. PwBD candidates get 50 minutes extra.
2. Interview: Candidates are called in a 1:6 ratio. You need at least 60% (50% for reserved category against reserved posts) in the interview.

Final weightage: Written Test 60% + Interview 40%. You can appear in Hindi or English. The written test will be held at Delhi/Gurgaon, Mumbai or Ahmedabad.
