RITES Limited AM/PAPIS Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

RITES Limited, a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, is hiring for its Metro consultancy projects under Vacancy Code CP/08-R2/26. This is a contract engagement on IDA scale, initially for one year, extendable based on project requirements. Selection is 100% interview-based — there is no written test for this post. The role suits engineers with hands-on experience in Metro Passenger Announcement and Public Information Systems.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Full-time B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication or Information Technology (or equivalent).
• Experience (Degree holders): Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience in Design, Installation & Commissioning, or Maintenance of Metro PAPIS systems.
• Experience (Diploma holders): Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 1 year in Metro PAPIS systems.
• Marks: UR/EWS candidates need a first-class degree or at least 60% marks; SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD candidates need at least 50% marks.

Age Limit

• Maximum age is 40 years as on the last date of application, 26 August 2026.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates get 5 years, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) get 3 years, and PwBD candidates get an additional 10 years on top of their category relaxation.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1,40,000 per month on the IDA (Industry Dearness Allowance) pay scale.
• You will also get DA, fixed/variable allowances at 23% of Basic Pay, HRA/Lease, Provident Fund and Gratuity, plus leaves, maternity leave, medical facility and accident/death insurance as per company rules for contract employees.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done in the following stages:

1. Document Scrutiny/Verification: Your eligibility is checked against the post applied for.
2. Interview: 100% weightage — Technical & Professional proficiency (65%) and Personality, Communication & Competency (35%). You need at least 60% marks (General/EWS) or 50% marks (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD) to be placed on the panel.
3. Medical Examination

You can choose to appear for the interview in Hindi or English. Empanelment does not guarantee a job offer — deployment depends on project requirements.

• Design, install and commission Passenger Announcement & Public Information Systems (PAPIS) for Metro projects

• Prepare technical documentation, testing reports and commissioning records
• Inspect on-site works to ensure quality and compliance with Metro project specifications
• Support project execution timelines for assigned Metro consultancy assignments
• Report system performance and maintenance issues to the project team
