The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released a notice to engage one Bank's Medical Consultant on a contract basis with fixed hourly pay. The doctor will work at the Main Office Building Dispensary, Central Vista, Sector-17, Chandigarh. This is a part-time role with fixed working hours, ideal for practising or retired doctors who want a steady part-time engagement with a top central bank. Who Can Apply?

• Minimum Qualification: You must have an MBBS degree in the allopathic system of medicine from a university recognised by the Medical Council of India.
• Preferred: Doctors with a postgraduate degree in General Medicine from a recognised university can also apply.
• Experience: You need at least 2 years of experience practising allopathic medicine in any hospital or clinic as a Registered Medical Practitioner.
• Reservation: This single post is reserved for the OBC (Other Backward Class) category. OBC candidates must produce a valid non-creamy-layer certificate.

Salary

• You will be paid a fixed hourly remuneration on a contract basis, as decided by the Bank.
• The pay is for the fixed working hours of the dispensary, not a monthly salary.

Important Dates

• Attend the RBI dispensary in Chandigarh during the fixed working hours (Monday to Friday, 9:45 AM to 1:15 PM)

• Prescribe medicines and advise patients on treatment and follow-up care
• Refer patients to specialists or hospitals when needed
• Keep proper medical records of patients seen at the dispensary
• Advise the Bank on basic health and preventive care matters
• Follow the dispensary rules and Bank guidelines during the contract period
