Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need an MBBS degree from a recognised university in the allopathic system of medicine.
• Experience: You must have at least 2 years of experience as a registered medical practitioner in a hospital or clinic.
• Registration: You should hold a valid registration with the Medical Council of India or a State Medical Council.

Salary

• You are paid Rs. 1,000 per hour for the time you attend the dispensary, subject to a maximum of Rs. 1,00,000 per month.
• This is a consolidated, part-time payment — you do not get the regular allowances (DA, HRA) that full-time RBI employees receive.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

RBI selects the Bank's Medical Consultant through a direct process — there is no written test:

1. Screening of Applications: RBI checks your qualification, registration and experience documents.
2. Interview: Shortlisted doctors are called for a personal interview.

Only the selected doctor is intimated by RBI — if you do not hear back after the interview, you may treat your application as unsuccessful.
