Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya (OAV), Allada, Kashinagar, Gajapati has invited applications for empanelment of contractual teachers in different Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas of Gajapati district (Order No. 01/OAV ALL/2026, dated 07 April 2026). The school is affiliated to CBSE and falls under the Ministry of School and Mass Education, Government of Odisha. There is no written exam for this recruitment — selection is purely based on merit and document verification. Both fresh graduates and retired teachers (up to 65 years) can apply.

Who Can Apply?

For PGT Posts

• Qualification: Two-year Integrated Post Graduate Course with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC) OR Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/SEBC/PH) in the relevant subject.
• Training: B.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution is mandatory.
• PGT Physics: Physics / Electronics / Applied Physics / Nuclear Physics
• PGT Mathematics: Mathematics / Applied Mathematics
• PGT Commerce: Commerce (M.Com. in Applied / Business Economics is not eligible)
• Note: Candidates without B.Ed. can apply only if trained candidates are not available.

For TGT Posts

• Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Arts and Science in the concerned subjects with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC) along with B.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution.
• TET Pass: You must have passed OSSTET, OTET Paper-II, or CTET Paper-II conducted by CBSE.
• Language: You should be able to teach in both Odia and English medium.
• Computer Knowledge: Desirable.
• Note: Candidates without B.Ed. and OSSTET can apply if trained candidates are not available.

Age Limit

• You should be between 21 and 65 years old as on 01 March 2026.
• This is an excellent opportunity for retired teachers (up to 65 years) to continue teaching on a contractual basis.

Salary (Monthly Honorarium)

• PGT (Normal Station): Rs. 25,000 per month
• PGT (Hard Station): Rs. 30,000 per month
• TGT (Normal Station): Rs. 20,000 per month
• TGT (Hard Station): Rs. 25,000 per month

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written exam for this recruitment. Selection is based on:

1. Merit: Based on your educational qualifications and marks.
2. Document Verification: You must appear in person at OAV Allada, Kashinagar, Gajapati with all original documents on the scheduled date.

Candidates who remain absent during document verification will be considered ineligible. No TA/DA will be paid for attending certificate verification.
