OAV Deogarh Guest Faculty Recruitment 2026

Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya (OAV), Tileibani under the Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS) has invited applications for empanelment of Guest Faculties to fill existing vacancies on a part-time contractual basis across all OAVs in Deogarh District. This is an empanelment drive covering 15 subjects under TGT and PGT categories. There is no written exam — selection is purely based on career marks and document verification. Both freshers with B.Ed and retired teachers (up to age 65) can apply.

Who Can Apply?

For PGT Posts

• Qualification: Two-year Integrated Post Graduate Course OR Master's Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC) in the relevant subject.
• B.Ed: Bachelor Degree in Education (B.Ed) from an NCTE-recognized institution is mandatory.
• Subject-wise: PGT Physics (Physics/Electronics/Applied Physics/Nuclear Physics), PGT Chemistry (Chemistry/Bio. Chemistry), PGT Biology (Botany/Zoology/Life Sciences/Genetics/Micro Biology etc. — must have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation), PGT Mathematics (Mathematics/Applied Mathematics), PGT Commerce (Commerce — M.Com in Applied/Business Economics not eligible), PGT Computer Science (B.E./B.Tech in CS/IT, OR MCA, OR M.Sc CS/IT, OR DOEACC 'B'/'C' Level with PG/Graduation).

For TGT Posts

• Qualification: Four-year Integrated Degree Course from an NCTE-recognized institution OR Bachelor's Degree in Arts & Science in the concerned subject with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC).
• B.Ed: 3-year integrated B.A B.Ed / B.Sc B.Ed with 50% marks from an NCTE-recognized institution.
• Proficiency: You must be able to teach in both Odia and English medium.
• CTET: CTET qualification is preferred. However, candidates without CTET may be considered if CTET-qualified candidates are not available.
• Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Application.

Subject-wise Requirements for TGTs

• TGT English: English as Honours/Pass/Elective/Major/Special subject at graduation level.
• TGT Mathematics: B.Sc with at least 200 marks in Mathematics, with any two of Physics, Chemistry, CS, Computer Application, Statistics, Electronics. OR B.Tech/B.E. with 200 marks in Mathematics and any two of these subjects.
• TGT Science: Bachelor Degree in Science with any three of Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Life-Science.
• TGT Social Studies: B.A with any 1 of History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, plus 1 more from 8 related subjects (History, Geography, Pol. Sc., Economics, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Indian Geography, Landmark in Indian History).

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 65 years
• In exceptional cases, the selection committee may relax the upper age limit by one more year.
• Both freshers and retired teachers (retired KV/JNV Principals, DEO, Readers, Sr. Lecturers) can apply.

Salary

• PGT (Normal Station): Rs. 25,000 per month (consolidated)
• PGT (Hard/Very Hard Station): Rs. 30,000 per month (consolidated)
• TGT (Normal Station): Rs. 20,000 per month (consolidated)
• TGT (Hard/Very Hard Station): Rs. 25,000 per month (consolidated)
• Payment is on pro rata basis — no vacation pay during summer/autumn/winter breaks.
• You must render service for a minimum of 20 days per month (excluding public holidays).
• No TA/DA will be paid for document verification or joining.

Application Fee

• No application fee has been mentioned in the notification.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written examination. Selection is based on academic merit and document verification:

1. Career Marks Computation: 10% of your marks in HSC, Bachelor's Degree, and B.Ed will be calculated for TGTs. For PGTs, marks in HSC, Bachelor's, Master's, M.Phil, PhD, and B.Ed are considered. Extra 5 marks each for M.Phil and PhD qualifications.
2. Document Verification: You must appear before the Selection Board with complete biodata and original documents on 22 April 2026 at 9:30 AM at OAV, Tileibani, Deogarh.
3. Panel Preparation: A merit panel will be prepared based on career marks. The selection committee (chaired by the District Collector) will finalize the list of teachers to be engaged.

Selection Board: Collector (Chairman), Nodal Principal (Member Convenor), DEO/Representative, Principal of NVS/KVS (Member), Subject Expert (Member).

2. Fill in the application form in the prescribed format.
3. Write "APPLICATION FORM FOR THE POST OF ________" in capital letters on the top of the envelope (superscription).
4. Attach self-attested photocopies of all certificates, mark sheets, identity proof, and two passport-size photographs.
5. Send the complete application by Speed Post to: Nodal Principal, OAV Tileibani, At/Po- Tileibani, Dist.- Deogarh, Pin- 768119.
6. Make sure your application reaches the office on or before 20 April 2026.
