Nagaland University (NU), a Central University established by an Act of Parliament in 1989, has released an advertisement to fill 1 Assistant Professor post on contract basis in the Department of Vocational Studies and Skill Development (VSSD), School of Agricultural Sciences, Medziphema Campus. The post is meant for the M.Voc. course in Entrepreneurship, run under a UGC Scheme that focuses on building industry-ready skills among students. The engagement is on a semester basis and is co-terminus with the UGC project — so this is a contract role tied to the scheme's duration, not a permanent university position. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification (Option A): M.Com or MBA in Finance, with expertise in Project Management, Operations Management, and Startup Ecosystem & Regulations. You need documentary proof of your teaching and industry experience in these areas.
• Qualification (Option B): Ph.D. or NET in a relevant subject, along with published research papers in peer-reviewed, Scopus-indexed, or NAAS-rated journals.

Salary

• You will get a salary at Academic Pay Level 10 of the 7th CPC, ranging from Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month.
• You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per Central Government and UGC rules.
