National Testing Agency (NTA), an autonomous body under the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, has released a vacancy notification for 4 contractual posts in its Communications & Outreach team. NTA is best known for conducting large-scale national exams such as JEE Main, NEET-UG, CUET, and UGC-NET, and this recruitment is meant to strengthen its communications capacity ahead of major examination cycles. The agency wants experienced professionals across video production, content writing, data analytics, and research — not freshers. Who Can Apply?

Video Editor cum Graphic Designer:

You will be the single creative lead for NTA's video and graphic design output — short-form advisories, flagship films, bilingual social graphics, and campaign identity systems.

• Qualification: Degree or diploma in film, media, design, or communication (or an equivalent body of work).
• Experience: At least 3 years of combined experience in video editing and graphic design, with a strong portfolio or showreel.
• You must know Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, plus colour grading (Resolve/Lumetri), sound design, and motion graphics.
• Good to have: cinematography/direction experience, UI/UX design for candidate portals, data-visualisation skills, and AI-assisted editing tools.

English Content Writer:

NTA wants plain, warm, accurate English writing — from press releases to video scripts.

• Qualification: Degree in English, journalism, or mass communication, with writing samples.
• Experience: At least 3 years in writing or editing — communications, journalism, PR, or content.
• You need excellent English writing, editing, and proofing skills, plus the ability to coordinate with Hindi counterparts for consistent bilingual content.
• Good to have: public-policy or government communications experience, working proficiency in Hindi, and familiarity with web/SEO writing.

Data Analyst cum Media Monitoring Executive:

This role is the analytics and monitoring backbone of NTA's Communications & Outreach team — tracking real-time sentiment and building leadership-ready reports.

• Qualification: Master's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, Public Policy, Statistics, Data, or a related field. Bachelor's degree holders with exceptional experience may also be considered.
• Experience: At least 3 years of combined experience in data analytics, media monitoring, and communications insights.
• You should know Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, and visualisation tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Data Studio, plus social listening tools such as Meltwater, Brandwatch, Sprinklr, or Talkwalker.
• Good to have: Python or R for NLP/sentiment analysis, and experience with Hindi-language text analytics.

Researcher:

You will be the evidence backbone for NTA's communications — desk research, fact-checking, policy tracking, and insight synthesis.

• Qualification: Degree or Master's in public policy, social sciences, economics, journalism, or a related field, with a portfolio of research/writing samples.
• Experience: At least 3 years in research — policy, think-tank, strategy consulting, media research, or academia.
• You need strong desk-research, source-evaluation, and fact-checking skills, plus the ability to design surveys, focus groups, and interviews.
• Good to have: working proficiency in Hindi, knowledge of the education/examination sector, and published research or reports.

Salary

• Pay is as per industry standards, based on your experience and qualifications. NTA has not published exact salary figures in this notice — indicative pay bands are shared separately with shortlisted candidates.
