NIT Raipur Project Associate-I Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur has invited applications for one Project Associate-I post under an Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) sponsored research project titled "UAV-Assisted OTFS for Convergent Communication and Localization in FR1," run under the PM-ECRG Scheme. The position is based in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at NIT Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The post is purely time-bound — initially for 2 months, with a possible extension up to 4 more months based on your performance. This is a good opportunity for fresh graduates interested in wireless communication research to gain hands-on project experience, and selected candidates may also get a chance to enrol for a PhD at NIT Raipur.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Four-year Bachelor's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences, Master's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences, BVSc, B.Pharm, or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology or Medicine from a recognised university.
• Desirable Skills: Knowledge of OFDM, SDR, USRP and other wireless communication domains; proficiency in LabVIEW, GNU Radio or MATLAB.
• Preferred: Candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship) or GATE will get a higher pay slab.

Salary

• You will get Rs. 37,000 per month + 20% HRA if you are GATE or NET qualified.
• You will get Rs. 30,000 per month + 20% HRA if you are not GATE or NET qualified.
• Salary is paid as per ANRF Guidelines under the PM-ECRG Scheme.

Selection Process

Selection is through a single stage:

1. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed on 13 July 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, NIT Raipur.

No travelling allowance will be paid for attending the interview.
