Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar has released a project advertisement for 1 Junior Research Fellow under an ANRF-sponsored ARG research project in Electrical Engineering. The project is titled Design and Development of Energy-Efficient Neuromorphic Hardware Prototype for Blind Source Separation of Multiple Fault Signals in High-Voltage Cables. Educational Qualification

• Qualification: You need an M.E., M.Tech or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Power Systems, Control Systems, Embedded Systems, VLSI, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, AI and ML related to hardware or signal processing, or an allied discipline.
• GATE: You must have qualified GATE.
• Research Fit: The project works on neuromorphic hardware, blind source separation, multiple fault signals, high-voltage cables, condition monitoring and grid intelligence.
• Ph.D. Option: The selected candidate may register for the Ph.D. programme at NIT Jalandhar as per institute rules.

Salary

• The selected JRF will get a fellowship of Rs. 37,000 per month.
• HRA: HRA will be paid as per ANRF or institute norms.
• Tenure: Initial appointment is for 1 year on a purely temporary basis and may be extended by another year based on satisfactory performance.
• Project Duration: The project duration is 3 years, but the appointment continues only while the project or service requirement continues.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection will be done through shortlisting and interview for the Junior Research Fellow post.
