NIT Goa Administrative Officer (Training & Placement) Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

National Institute of Technology Goa (NIT Goa), located at Cuncolim, South Goa, has issued Advt. No. NITGOA/RECT/CONT/2026/42 dated 13 April 2026 for filling the post of Administrative Officer in its Training and Placement Cell. This is a purely temporary appointment for 6 months, which may be extended by another 6 months based on satisfactory performance. The selected candidate must be ready to join immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for MBA graduates or those with experience in campus placement and student recruitment activities to work at a prestigious NIT.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Master's degree in any discipline or equivalent degree (preferably MBA) with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognised university or institute
• Desirable Experience: Minimum 2 years of work experience in any recognised organisation, preferably in Training & Placement or Student Placement activity

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 40 years

Salary

• Consolidated pay of Rs. 50,000 per month
• This is a contract role — no additional government allowances apply
• Contract duration: 6 months, extendable by another 6 months based on performance

Selection Process

Selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Application Shortlisting: Applications submitted via Google Form will be screened. Shortlisting criteria may be set higher than the advertised eligibility if required.
2. Interview (Offline Mode): Shortlisted candidates will be called for an offline interview at NIT Goa. Interview timings will be communicated via email only.

• Handle all placement-related activities and coordinate student recruitment drives at NIT Goa
• Coordinate with industries and companies for on-campus and off-campus interviews
• Arrange guest lectures, workshops, seminars, industrial visits, and educational tours for students
• Liaise with organisations to provide vocational training opportunities for students
• Facilitate Entrepreneurship Development Programmes (EDPs) in coordination with industry
• Support students in career planning, skill development, and career awareness activities
• Act as a link between students, alumni, and the employment community
• Assist the Chairperson (Training & Placement) with any additional tasks as assigned
