NISER PDF and RA Physics Recruitment 2026: Overview

National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar is recruiting a Post-Doctoral Fellow / Research Associate for its School of Physical Sciences. The institute is an autonomous institution under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, and this is a temporary research appointment.

You would join Dr. Anamitra Mukherjee in a research area covering quantum many-body theory and strongly correlated electron systems. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Fixed tenure: The appointment runs only until 31 March 2027. Keep this end point in mind when considering how the position fits your research plans.
• Travel costs: NISER will not pay travel or daily allowances for attending the interview or seminar presentation. The same restriction applies to travel for joining if you are selected.
