NIMHANS Research Officer Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post
National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore has invited applications for 1 Research Officer post on a contract basis. This position is for the project titled "Target ALS Global Natural History Study: Longitudinal Biofluids, Clinical Measures, Biomarker and At-Home Measures", funded by University College London (UCL), UK. The project is under Dr. Nalini A, Senior Professor of Neurology at NIMHANS. This is a great opportunity for MBBS doctors interested in neuroscience research and ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) studies.

Responsibilities
- Assist in data collection and clinical assessments for the ALS Natural History Study
- Handle patient screening, recruitment, and follow-up as per the study protocol
- Collect and process biofluid samples (blood, CSF) following standard operating procedures
- Record clinical measures and biomarker data accurately in study databases
- Coordinate with the Principal Investigator and international collaborators at UCL London
- Prepare progress reports, case report forms, and research documentation
- Follow ethical guidelines and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards in all research activities
