NIELIT Consultant and Resource Person Recruitment 2026

National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), under MeitY, Government of India, has invited candidates for a walk-in interview for 2 contract posts — Consultant and Resource Person (Project Co-Ordination). The walk-in interview will be held on 11 March 2026 at NIELIT Headquarters, Dwarka, New Delhi.

These are contract-based posts for 1 year, extendable based on performance. No HRA, DA, medical, or transport allowance is provided.

  • B.Tech/B.E. in CS/IT/Electronics, MBA preferred
  • 10 years post-qualification experience
  • Max age: 62 years

Resource Person

  • Any Graduate
  • 4 years working experience
  • Max age: 45 years

Selection

Walk-in interview. No written exam.

  1. Document Verification: 9:30-11:30 AM
  2. Interview: 11:00 AM onwards

Responsibilities

  • Support project planning, execution, and monitoring activities
  • Prepare and maintain MIS reports, project documents, and progress updates
  • Coordinate with internal teams, government stakeholders, and project partners
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets
  • Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and official correspondence
  • Use ICT tools and office productivity software for day-to-day work
  • Support implementation of digital literacy and e-governance programmes
  • Follow NIELIT guidelines, reporting formats, and work procedures
  • Attend meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required

Minimum Qualification

Any Graduate (Resource Person) / B.Tech/B.E. in CS/IT/Electronics (Consultant)

Required Skills

Project management, MIS, ICT for development (Consultant); Office Productivity Tools, project coordination (Resource Person)

Age Limit

18 - 62 years (as on 11 Mar 2026)

Experience

4.0 - 10.0 years

Consultant: 10 years post-qualification in IT/Electronics/project management. Resource Person: 4 years working experience.
