NHSRC Principal Team Lead Information Technology Recruitment 2026

The National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) is an autonomous society under the National Health Mission (NHM), set up to give technical support to states for the public health system. NHSRC needs a senior IT leader to head its Information Technology Division and drive digital health platforms used across NHM programmes such as Mera Aspataal, NQAS, LaQshya certification, HRIS, DVDMS and the Free Drugs initiative. This is a senior contract role till 31 March 2028, reporting directly to the Executive Director, NHSRC.

Who Can Apply?

Only full-time / regular degrees are accepted.

• Qualification: You must have a B.Tech in IT/Computer Science/Electronics, or B.Sc IT, or BCA, along with an M.Tech/M.Sc in CS/IT/Electronics, or MCA, or a 2-year full-time MBA in IT/Systems.
• Experience: You need a minimum of 15 years of post-qualification experience in software development, IT systems and networking.
• Deputation: Government officials can apply on deputation if they meet the criteria and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department.

Preferred (Desirable)

• Prior experience in Health Informatics and public health projects
• 10+ years of experience managing teams of 50 or more members
• Proven track record of leading software product development and large-scale projects

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 62 years (as on the date of applying).

Salary

• The salary starts from Rs. 3,00,000 per month and can be fixed higher based on your experience and suitability.

This is a senior leadership position filled through screening and interview:

• Lead the NHSRC IT Division and ensure quality, timely deliverables

• Operationalize under-developed applications like E-Supportive Supervision, GRS and Health Helpline
• Drive the design, development and roll-out of new software and portals for NHM with subject experts
• Coordinate with NIC and the MoHFW MIS division to integrate applications and enable data sharing
• Generate timely analytics for policy makers and programme managers at national and state level
• Support states in setting up state-level data centres
• Manage the IT team, budget, resources, stakeholders and partner coordination
