NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), the green energy arm of NTPC Limited, has released Advertisement No. 02/26 to fill 114 posts in the Renewable Energy (RE) area. Out of these, 14 posts are for Deputy General Manager (RE) and 100 posts are for Assistant Engineer (RE) in asset management and operation & maintenance (O&M). This is a lateral recruitment aimed at working professionals from the power and renewable energy sector. NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) is the renewable energy subsidiary of NTPC Limited, India's largest power producer. NGEL builds and runs solar, wind and green hydrogen projects across the country. Both posts sit on the operation and maintenance (O&M) and asset management side of the business. As an Assistant Engineer (RE), you will handle day-to-day plant operations and maintenance. As a Deputy General Manager (RE), you will lead teams and take charge of bigger asset management duties. Who Can Apply?

For Assistant Engineer (RE):

• Qualification: Engineering degree (B.E./B.Tech) in a relevant discipline as given in the official notification.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the renewable energy or power sector.

For Deputy General Manager (RE):

• Qualification: Engineering degree (B.E./B.Tech) in a relevant discipline as given in the official notification.
• Experience: Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in the renewable energy or power sector.

Age Limit

• Assistant Engineer (RE): Maximum age 40 years.
• Deputy General Manager (RE): Maximum age 44 years.

• Age is counted as on the cut-off date given in the official notification. Age relaxation for reserved categories applies as per government rules.

Salary

• Assistant Engineer (RE): Pay scale of Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 1,20,000 per month.
• Deputy General Manager (RE): Pay scale of Rs. 90,000 to Rs. 2,40,000 per month (E-6 grade).
• These pay scales are among the best in the sector for experienced engineers, and the senior role can pay up to Rs. 2,40,000 per month plus benefits.
• You will also get allowances and benefits as per NGEL rules, over and above the basic pay.

Selection Process

Selection is done for experienced professionals in these stages:

1. Shortlisting: Candidates are shortlisted based on their qualification, experience and eligibility as per the notification.
2. Interview / Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview conducted by NGEL.
