National Fire Service College Deputy Director Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

National Fire Service College, Nagpur has notified one Group A gazetted Deputy Director vacancy. The post is meant for senior officers from government, public sector, university, statutory, autonomous, research, or semi-government organisations with fire service experience. • Deputation period: The deputation or short-term contract period will normally not exceed 4 years.

• Service rank: The experience should be in a rank not below Divisional or Regional Fire Service Officer, Chief Fire Officer, or Assistant Director.
• Feeder category restriction: Departmental officers in the direct line of promotion are not eligible for deputation consideration.
• Promotion restriction: Deputationists are not eligible for appointment by promotion.
