National Fire Service College, Nagpur has released a vacancy circular for 1 Chief Instructor post in General Central Service, Group B, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.   • Experience: You need 5 years experience in teaching or training in firefighting in a rank not below Senior Instructor.
  • Eligible experience organisations: Experience can be from recognised Fire Service organisations in Central Government, State Government, Union Territory Administration, Municipal Corporation, industrial, aviation, or port fire services.

Preferred Qualification

  • First Aid or Rescue: Medical First Aid Responder or Urban Search and Rescue course from a recognised institute is desirable.
  • Driving Licence: A valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence is desirable.

Deputation Conditions

  • Tenure: The deputation period, including any earlier ex-cadre deputation just before this appointment, will ordinarily not exceed 3 years.
  • Proper channel: Only applications sponsored by the parent ministry, department, State Government, UT Administration, PSU, or eligible organisation will be considered.
  • No withdrawal: Officers who volunteer and are sponsored for this post will not be permitted to withdraw their names later.
  • Promotion note: Departmental feeder-category officers in the direct promotion line are not eligible for deputation consideration, and deputationists are not eligible for promotion consideration.

Age Limit

  • Maximum age for appointment by deputation should be not more than 56 years.
