National e-Governance Division (NeGD), an independent business division under Digital India Corporation and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, has released a web advertisement dated 16 June 2026. These posts are for the GOV.IN project on a contractual basis, initially for 3 years and extendable as per project requirement. Selection will be through screening and interview; no written exam is mentioned.

Who Can Apply?

Business Analyst - Team Lead

Age Limit

Budget / Salary Ceiling

• Business Analyst - Team Lead: 10%-15% hike or up to Rs. 40,00,000 per year.
• Business Analyst: 10%-15% hike or up to Rs. 34,00,000 per year.
• Laravel/PHP Web Developer: 10%-15% hike or up to Rs. 21,00,000 per year.
• Monthly equivalent for comparison: The annual ceilings work out to about Rs. 1,75,000 to Rs. 3,33,333 per month depending on the post.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

NeGD will screen applications based on qualification, age and relevant experience. NeGD may also fix a higher threshold to limit the number of people called for interview.

Work Focus

• Team Lead: Plan PMU activities, coordinate outreach cycles, manage meetings and workshops, work with NIC nodal officers and ensure timely reports.
• Laravel/PHP Web Developer: Build and maintain Laravel/PHP applications, APIs, databases, security controls, performance improvements and backend systems.
• Business Analyst: Manage outreach, update compliance trackers, organise meetings, support GIGW compliance workshops and document follow-ups.

Contract Terms and Official Conditions

The engagement is purely temporary and project-based, so selection does not create any claim for permanent appointment in NeGD or Digital India Corporation. NeGD may fill all, some or none of the advertised posts based on project need and candidate fit.

• Contract period: Initially 3 years, with extension possible as per project requirement.
• Notice period: NeGD may end the appointment with one month's notice or by paying one month's salary in place of notice.
• Designation mapping: Final designation will be mapped as per the existing NeGD policy.
• NOC condition: If you are already in government, PSU or autonomous body service, apply through proper channel or provide No Objection Certificate.
