NABARD Consultancy Services (NABCONS) Career Counsellor & Manager Recruitment 2026 - 7 Posts
NABARD Consultancy Services (NABCONS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development (NABARD) and works as a premium consultancy in livelihoods development, agriculture, and rural development across the country. Kudumbashree, Kerala's state poverty eradication mission, has appointed NABCONS as the State Technical Support Agency for the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Grameen Kaushal Yojana (DDU-GKY), a placement-linked skill development scheme run by the Ministry of Rural Development. NABCONS is now hiring project-based contract staff at the state headquarters and district level to run this programme in Kerala. Positions are initially for 11 months, co-terminus with the project, and can be extended based on your performance. This is a good opportunity if you enjoy fieldwork, community outreach, and career counselling, and want to work on a government-linked skilling mission rather than a typical desk job.
Keep in mind that this is a contract engagement, not a permanent government job. NABCONS can end the contract at any time without prior notice, though in the normal course it gives three months' notice before ending your engagement within the contract period.
Vacancy Breakdown
- Career Counsellors: 4 posts
- District Manager (Kollam & Pathanamthitta): 1 post
- Manager - Call Centre & Career Counselling Unit: 1 post
- Support Executive (Placement): 1 post
All 7 positions are posted at Thiruvananthapuram, though the District Manager will need to travel extensively within Kollam and Pathanamthitta districts for field verification and monitoring work, while the Career Counsellors, Manager, and Support Executive will mostly handle candidate guidance, call centre support, and placement coordination from the state office.

- Language: You should be proficient in the local language and in English
