Selection Process

NABARD will conduct an interview to select candidates for the panel of Medical Officers. Shortlisted candidates after the interview will need to submit a Medical Fitness Certificate before engagement. The Bank reserves the right to raise minimum eligibility standards to limit the number of candidates called for interview.

What is the age limit for NABARD BMO?

Is NABARD BMO a full-time or part-time position?

This is a part-time contractual position. The duty hours are approximately 2 hours per day at the dispensary location, Monday to Friday (or Saturday depending on the dispensary).

Responsibilities

  • Provide free administration of injections, dressings, and medical treatment to NABARD staff at the dispensary during duty hours
  • Issue order forms for supply of special or costly drugs and injections required for curative purposes
  • Visit staff members at their residence as and when required by the Bank for medical consultations
  • Refer staff and their family members to specialists and certify such referrals when considered essential
  • Arrange prophylactic inoculations and vaccinations for various diseases as directed by the Bank
  • Provide guidance and support for securing hospital facilities in local hospitals for staff and their families
  • Carry out detailed medical check-ups and certify the health status of Bank employees in prescribed forms
  • Conduct medical fitness examinations for prospective employees selected for appointment
  • Provide medical attention, advice, and consultation to Bank staff and their dependents
  • Make substitute arrangements for a locum doctor at your own cost when unable to attend the dispensary

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification

MBBS degree in the Allopathic system of medicine from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India. Post-graduate degree in General Medicine is also accepted.
