Maharashtra State Co-operative Bank Ltd. (MSC Bank), Mumbai, has invited applications under Advertisement No. 07/MSC Bank/2026-2027 for 3 contract-based technology and security leadership posts. MSC Bank is the apex cooperative bank in Maharashtra, established in 1911 and classified as a Scheduled Bank, operating through its Head Office and 57 branches across the state and acting as the financial backbone for the state's cooperative and agricultural sector. This is a 1-year contract, renewable up to 5 years based on performance, and is open only to candidates holding a Maharashtra domicile certificate. Who Can Apply?

Common Requirements (All Three Posts):

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, E&TC, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or MCA/MCS/M.Sc/MCM in Computer Science/IT from a recognized university
• Domicile: You must be a resident of Maharashtra and submit a valid domicile certificate
• Language: You must be proficient in Marathi, English, and Hindi

For CISO (1 post):

• Certification: CISM, CISA, or CISSP is mandatory
• Experience: Minimum 7 years in the IT industry in an officer or higher post, including at least 3 years as CISO, with expertise in information security, cyber security, network administration, and audit compliance
• Key Skills: Information security management, cyber risk management, SOC management, network and cloud security, VAPT, RBI cyber security framework, ISO 27001, NIST framework, and board-level reporting

For CTO (1 post):

• Certification: A CTO certification from a reputed institution (enterprise architecture or technology leadership) is desirable
• Experience: Minimum 15 years in a PSU, Scheduled Commercial Bank, or Financial Institute IT department, or 10 years specifically as CTO, with proven experience managing IT infrastructure and Core Banking Systems (CBS)
• Key Skills: Enterprise architecture, core banking systems, digital banking and fintech integration, IT infrastructure and data centre management, vendor management, and IT budget planning

For DPO (1 post):

• Certification: DCDPO (Data Security Council of India), GDPR Certificate, CISM, CIPM, or FIP is mandatory
• Experience: Minimum 10 years in a Corporate/PSU/IT organization as a Manager or equivalent, including at least 2 years managing data security. Experience in Data Privacy & Protection Laws is preferred
• Key Skills: Data protection laws (including the DPDP Act, 2023), privacy risk assessment, data governance, consent management, records of processing activities (ROPA), and data breach response

Age Limit

• Maximum age limit is 45 years as on 1 July 2026 for all three posts.

Salary

• All three posts carry a monthly pay of Rs. 1,15,000.
• The Bank's Management can decide the final pay based on your qualification and experience — pay scale is not a constraint for deserving candidates.
• You will also get Travelling Allowance and Halting Allowance as per the Bank's T.A.D.A. rules for outstation duty, plus 12 days Casual Leave and 15 days Privilege Leave per year.
• Note: PF, Gratuity, and Pension benefits do not apply to this contract post, and you will have no legal claim to regular absorption into the Bank during or after the contract period.

The selection will be done in 2 stages:

2. Interview/Discussion: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview or discussion process at the Bank.
